Director of Business Development

What You’ll do:

Constellation Quality Health is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Director of Business Development to lead the capture planning and business development activities for the organization. This position plays a key role in improving the company’s bottom line!

We expect you to:

• Manage the strategic and operational marketing and customer relationship activities for current and potential public and private sector clients.
• Increase revenue through awards of new contracts and retention/expansion of existing contracts through established targets.

Who You are:

The Director of Business Development brings competency and demonstrated understanding of new business generation across all contract types, complex solutions development and effective management of vetted opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and new opportunities and generate product development ideas; and drive increase in revenue and profit to achieve company’s targeted growth objectives. The Director of Business Development oversees capture planning and the proposal development process for public and private opportunities using automated systems and business intelligence tools. Must develop corporate strategic objectives and implement action plans to reach those objectives; perform market research and analysis and assist service line leaders with development of products and services that will ensure the company’s success; create and lead product feasibility studies; and plan and coordinate the development and implementation of business plans for new product/service development.

Our requirements for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, marketing or related field; MBA preferred
• Minimum ten (10) years’ business development, preferably in a healthcare related area
• Excellent negotiations skills and proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of new business
• Experience in federal and state government contracting including the production of winning proposals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
